However, we understand that situations may arise where a refund is necessary. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are issued.
1. Service Cancellations

Client-Initiated Cancellations:

If you cancel your pet care service at least 24 hours in advance, you may be eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may not be eligible for a refund, except in cases of emergency (at our discretion).

No-Show Policy:
If you fail to show up or are unavailable at the scheduled time, no refund will be issued. -
Rescheduling:
You may reschedule your appointment at no cost if done at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling with less notice may incur a fee.
2. Service Dissatisfaction
If you are not satisfied with the quality of our pet care service, please reach out to us within 48 hours of the completed service. We may offer:

A partial or full refund, depending on the situation

A credit toward a future appointment

A follow-up service at no additional cost
All dissatisfaction claims must be documented and submitted via email to contact@lightmydarkness.org, including your full name, appointment details, and an explanation of the issue.
3. Emergency Situations
In the case of emergencies—whether on our end or yours—that prevent the service from being provided, we will:

Reschedule the service free of charge
4. Non-Refundable Items

Pre-paid packages or discounted bundles may be non-refundable after the first session is used.

Travel expenses, if any, are not refundable once incurred.
5. Refund Processing
If approved, refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days. We will notify you via email once the refund is initiated.
